Yale Society for the Exploration of Campus Secrets : ウィキペディア英語版 | Yale Society for the Exploration of Campus Secrets
The Yale Society for the Exploration of Campus Secrets (YSECS) is the only four-year secret society located at Yale University. They are known for uncovering and archiving the history of Yale's campus.〔https://books.google.com/books?id=8__1AgAAQBAJ&pg=PA151〕 They are rumored to possess knowledge about all of Yale's rooftops, tunnels, and other hidden places as well as much of Yale's forgotten history. Their public motto is Omnia Arcana Illustrabuntur (OAI), or "all secret things will be revealed."〔http://self.gutenberg.org/articles/list_of_yale_university_student_organizations〕 Members are chosen through a selective application process in which candidates explore Yale's campus and discuss with members what was found. Once chosen, members are entrusted with all the knowledge society possesses. Members have been kicked out due to breaking society rules and the bonds of secrecy. All members are said to have a group-mandated mark somewhere on their bodies.〔http://self.gutenberg.org/articles/list_of_yale_university_student_organizations〕 The society is run by the Chief Exploration Officer (CEO) and the Chief Information Officer (CIO). ==Notes==
